Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit HGV Driver to join our team in Chelmsford. As a Waste Collection Operative, you will be responsible for collecting residential waste and recycling, moving bins and boxes, and reporting any issues with waste collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collecting residential waste and recycling in Chelmsford
  • Moving bags, wheelie bins, and recycling bins and boxes
  • Using a lifting mechanism to tip waste from bins into the lorry
  • Reporting any problems with waste collections
  • Assisting waste collection operatives with collections
Requirements

2 years of HGV driving experience is required, but not essential. You must be physically fit, work well in a team, and have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.

Working Hours

6:30/7am start hours, Tuesday to Friday, 37 hours a week (overtime available depending on workload).
