We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance requirements within a fresh produce environment. The ideal candidate will have sound electrical and mechanical engineering experience and a proven track record of managing maintenance teams.
The Role:- Manage routine servicing and regular inspection of all electrical, mechanical, and other equipment of the facility, including boilers, high-pressure pumps, and gearboxes.
- Relay issues with the system clearly to the responsible maintenance teams.
- Maintain accurate records of repair and maintenance work conducted in the facility.
- Detect any defects and malfunctions, immediately repairing and refurbishing them.
- Take ownership of specific maintenance projects.
- Coordinate and produce feedback on the functionality of the machinery and equipment.
- Growing, fresh produce background highly desirable.
- Prior experience with commercial HVAC, commercial boilers, industrial boilers, and heating systems, ideally glasshouse heating as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, or Site Engineering Manager.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing production machinery - desirable.
- Fabrication using lathe and welding - desirable.
- UK/EU Driving Licence - essential.
- Flexibility on working hours, including potential call-outs.
- The ability to lead and be part of driven and motivated teams.
- £45-50k DOE.
- Private healthcare.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holiday.
