About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tenancy Sustainment / Housing Assistant Manager to join our team at the London Borough of Hounslow. As an Assistant Service Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a first-class service to vulnerable residents, building trusting relationships with tenants and professionals to achieve individual outcomes while supporting the shared goals of the council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line management of 6 Tenancy Sustainment Officers
  • Work with other managers and officers to ensure integrated services
  • Manage casework for complex issues such as Domestic Abuse, Safeguarding, and Hospital discharges
  • Keep up to date with key legislations, policies, and procedures
  • Provide effective leadership and support to staff
  • Possess project management skills and knowledge of housing management
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the Housing Sector
  • Experience managing complex housing cases at a management level
  • Basic DBS
