Accountant Job Opportunity

LA Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Accountant to join its team. The ideal candidate will possess strong IT skills, including Excel and accountancy packages, and be ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and management accounts for clients
  • Conduct business and personal tax computations
  • Mentor junior staff members
  • Prepare self-assessment tax returns
  • Perform general bookkeeping tasks
  • Assist with payroll submissions and liaise with HMRC

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel and accountancy software
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm
  • Good organisational skills
  • Recent experience in a UK accountancy firm (desirable)
