Join Gulfstream Aerospace as a Service Engineering Stress Liaison Technical Specialist II and contribute to the development and production of our high-performance aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform stress analysis and structural repair duties in support of aircraft structural repair, rework, and alteration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions.
- Conduct research and analysis to resolve complex engineering issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and customers.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Substantial experience in stress analysis, structural repair, and liaison duties.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Advanced degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience with 3D modeling systems, finite element analysis, and fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and industry standards.
