Cottrell Moore Ltd is a leading builders merchant seeking a highly skilled eCommerce Merchandiser to drive online sales growth and optimise the digital presence of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive eCommerce strategies aligned with our overall business objectives, focusing on enhancing website traffic, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Optimise website content, product descriptions, and metadata to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic, leveraging expertise in SEO principles and techniques.
  • Manage product assortment with the assistance of software, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Create engaging product displays and promotions to drive customer interest and increase sales, collaborating with Marketing, Commercial, and Customer Support teams.
  • Analyse website performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, utilising data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Stay current with eCommerce industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or a related field, with a strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience working with eCommerce platforms, Google Analytics, and other web analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of paid advertising channels, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimisation, with experience working with content management systems.
