Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare cashflow forecasting and budgeting as and when required with input from senior management.
  • Financial Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant finance and tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Operations: Manage and reconcile the general ledger, oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, and prepare payroll inputs for payroll providers.
  • Financial Insights: Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or other prestigious degree.
  • Accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACA).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience post-qualification in financial accounting, preferably within the recruitment or staffing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero QuickBooks, Sage or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling.
