Tax Advisory Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisory Director to join our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) Tax team at Grant Thornton (UK). As a key member of our team, you will provide tax structuring advice and undertake tax due diligence on transactions, working closely with clients, legal advisers, and target management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Tax Structuring Advice: Collaborate with clients to develop tax-efficient transaction structures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Undertake Tax Due Diligence: Conduct thorough tax due diligence on transactions, identifying potential tax risks and opportunities.
- Lead Client Discussions: Engage with clients, legal advisers, and target management to provide tax advice and guidance throughout the transaction process.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive business development and growth.
- Prepare Structuring Reports: Develop and present tax structuring reports to clients, highlighting key tax implications and recommendations.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or Tax Adviser: Possess relevant qualifications and experience in UK corporation tax compliance, M&A, and other tax issues.
- Strong Client Handling Skills: Demonstrate excellent client handling, project management, and prioritization skills.
- Technical Tax Expertise: Possess strong technical tax knowledge and research skills, with the ability to stay up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint: Demonstrate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create complex financial models and presentations.
