Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Officer to join our team at REED Specialist Recruitment. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing payroll for approximately 80 clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage weekly and monthly payroll for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Payroll Processing using Sage 50 Payroll HMRC RTI Submissions: Handle Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC.
  • Statutory Payments: Calculate Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), and holiday entitlements.
  • Pension Administration: Liaise with various pension providers and ensure workplace pension compliance.
  • Client Support: Provide exceptional service to clients, addressing payroll-related queries and issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and HMRC regulations.
  • Proficiency in SSP, SMP, and holiday calculations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients effectively.
