Job PurposeWe are seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead our ecology and biodiversity team in the Northern region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for growing and managing a successful ecology business, driving change, delivering excellence, and expanding our client base in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead a successful ecology and biodiversity team in the Northern area, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects and services.
- Develop and implement effective management strategies to drive team growth and success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to expand our client base and grow our ecology and biodiversity services.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to our company values and culture.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in ecology and biodiversity, with a strong track record of leadership and management.
- MCIEEM/CEcol/CEnv preferred, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policy.
- Excellent communication, project management, and client management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively within a multidisciplinary design team.
