Family Law Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Family Law Specialist to join our specialist Family department in Liverpool city centre. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support to our Solicitors and Associates in handling client matters, ensuring exceptional client care and compliance with the National Practice Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Solicitors and Associates in handling client matters, including divorce, matrimonial finances, nuptial agreements, and private children act matters for medium to high-net-worth individuals.
  • Provide regular client contact, utilizing excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Draft correspondence, applications, statements, letters of instruction, briefs to Counsel, and prepare court bundles for approval.
  • Undertake legal research, instruct Counsel, and attend court to sit behind Counsel.
  • Organize files, assist with diary management, and perform legal support tasks, including dictation, scanning, photocopying, and file review/closure.
  • Ensure time recording and billing targets are met.

Requirements:

  • Previous family experience is essential.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Competent typing skills, ideally proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Good attention to detail.
