Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our Street Care team at Totally Local Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our streets and public spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake cleansing duties allocated by the supervisor in accordance with agreed procedures to defined standards.
  • Operate a range of mechanical equipment including gardening, street cleansing machinery, portable hand tools and industrial power washers.
  • Assist in the recycling of waste collected, wherever possible.
  • Work as part of a team, directly answering to his/her supervisor.
  • Undertake duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with established safe systems of work, policies and procedures.
  • Report any matters concerning the maintenance of a clean environment.
Requirements:
  • C1 driving licence and ability to drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes.
  • Experience in working to and achieving operational targets.
  • Ability to maintain high quality horticultural features and achieve street cleansing standards.
  • Knowledge and understanding of street cleansing/horticultural standards, working methods and equipment deployed within the Greenspace and Street care service.
