Job Summary:

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Officer to provide general dental services to patients at Abban Street and Culloden clinics. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of dental services, including routine general dental care and treatment for anxious patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general dental services to patients, including routine check-ups, fillings, and extractions.
  • Deliver treatment to patients who require inhalation sedation.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in the emergency dental service at the Inverness Dental Centre.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of dental services at Abban Street and Culloden clinics.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a dentist.
  • Experience of providing treatment to priority group patients.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
