Taskmaster Resources LTD is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for a full-time, permanent position with our client based in Barnsley.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work within a reputable company.

About the Role
  • Hours: Guaranteed 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday with potential for weekend shifts during peak periods.
  • Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour, with overtime rates available at £20.00 per hour.
  • Start Times: Typically around 18:00, with earlier starts possible to avoid traffic congestion.
Responsibilities

As a HGV Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods. This may include loading and unloading your vehicle, completing pre-trip inspections, and adhering to all relevant road safety regulations.

Requirements
  • Valid Category C+E (Class 1) HGV/LGV entitlement
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience driving a Class 1 vehicle
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card (Digi Card)
  • No more than 6 points on your license; DR, DD, IN or TT endorsements are NOT accepted
  • Hold a full CPC

A Moffett licence is advantageous but not essential as training can be provided on-site at a later date.
