This role is a fantastic chance to influence the trajectory of social work within our community while also enhancing your professional journey. You will collaborate closely with the Social Work Apprenticeship and Development Lead to oversee and support our expanding Social Work Apprenticeship initiative within Adult Social Care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the recruitment and onboarding processes for apprentices.
- Ensure apprentices receive high-quality education and support throughout their training.
- Manage the placement process, making informed decisions to align apprentices with suitable opportunities.
- Address any challenges that arise during the apprenticeship journey.
- Collaborate with higher education institutions to uphold educational standards.
- Represent Wiltshire Council in relevant meetings and discussions.
We seek a social worker registered with Social Work England, possessing substantial post-qualification experience. Experience as a Practice Educator or ASYE Assessor is preferred. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of social care policy are essential.
