About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Wood Care Group. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care activities, such as washing, dressing, and assisting with meals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the care team.
Requirements
  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to residents.
