Compensation:
£35,000 - £40,000 + Company Vehicle & Fuel Allowance
This role is essential for providing comprehensive facilities management services across various properties within the permanent estate, specifically in the London region.
The position may involve temporary accommodation for work assignments away from the primary residence.Responsibilities include fostering effective communication with clients and specialized subcontractors, ensuring strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Management and coordination of facilities management subcontractors will be required when applicable.
Conducting toolbox talks and contractor orientations is also part of the role.
As an Authorised Person, you will be responsible for specific duties related to low voltage electrical systems, mechanical systems, and working at heights.
Performing minor repairs and maintenance across various trades, including plumbing and grounds upkeep, is expected.
You will oversee the issuance and completion of scheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring that all planned maintenance is executed promptly, maintaining statutory compliance and operational efficiency of the facility.
Additionally, you will induct, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors during the facilities management operations phase, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance services.
Proficiency in IT is necessary for completing company documentation, such as maintenance reports.A solid background in servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting is essential.
Possession of SMSTS or a similar qualification is required.
A valid UK driving license is mandatory.
Qualifications include Electrical City and Guilds 2391 for electrical testing and inspection, 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, and City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2.
A Gold JIB Card is also required.
