We are seeking a highly skilled Java Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to take on a leadership role within our dynamic team.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Lead SDET with a focus on Java, you will be responsible for steering a committed team dedicated to delivering scalable and reliable services on the company's platform. Your emphasis will be on effective testing methodologies, particularly the principles of shift-left testing.

  • Team Leadership: Manage performance evaluations and recruitment for a team of SDETs.
  • Strategic Direction: Direct the team's testing and automation methodologies.
  • Test Strategy: Establish and coordinate test strategies for software releases.
  • Framework Development: Create and implement automation frameworks, tests, and tools.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Engage in team planning and story refinement.
Candidate Profile:
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years in test development, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of Java and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Agile Methodology: Expertise in applying testing practices within an agile framework.
  • Unit Testing: Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit and TestNG.
  • Backend Testing: Experience in testing backend systems or APIs.
  • Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter and Gatling.
