Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Strategic Finance Partner to enhance our financial management team. This role involves close collaboration with the Senior Finance Business Partner to deliver exceptional financial planning and reporting to support departmental leaders in achieving their financial objectives.

The successful candidate will be integral to the finance department, working alongside operational teams to ensure effective financial oversight and governance. This position is crucial for maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting, both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated and proactive, committed to providing outstanding service and possessing excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate timely corporate financial reports for internal use and statutory returns, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

- Analyze and monitor budgets, run rates, and forecasts, providing expert financial guidance while liaising with external organizations as necessary.

- Serve as the primary contact for department managers to address budget-related inquiries, interpreting complex financial data and forecasting trends effectively.

- Develop and implement processes and procedures to meet current and future financial needs, including the establishment of new systems and policies.

- Prepare the Division's Board report, ensuring that key metrics facilitate informed business decisions and represent finance in divisional meetings.

- Support strategic decision-making by evaluating changes in service delivery and forecasting their financial implications.

- Lead financial planning for the Division, ensuring alignment with operational plans and adherence to the budget-setting process.

- Drive Waste Reduction initiatives, providing robust support and guidance to enhance efficiency.
