Job Summary
The Assembly & Test Technician will be responsible for mechanically and electronically assembling and testing high-tech instruments and systems to industry standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret circuit and wiring diagrams to assemble and test instruments and systems.
- Perform mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of electro-mechanical instrumentation.
- Conduct environmental testing of instruments and systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic issues to component level.
- Repair and maintain client equipment as required.
- Ensure good housekeeping and maintenance of test equipment.
- Work with high voltage power supplies.
- Use solder and other hazardous materials.
- Comply with CoSHH requirements and wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
