Veterinary Nurse Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at GLG Vets in Shrewsbury. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading and managing a team of nurses, and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team and ensure high standards of patient care.
- Deliver exceptional patient care, including surgeries, procedures, and patient monitoring.
- Lead, manage, and promote nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 surgeries.
- Manage admissions and discharges, and complete patient transfers as needed.
- Dispense and check medication, and deliver professional excellence in all aspects of nursing.
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse with experience in delivering exceptional patient care.
- Ability to confidently lead a clinical team and implement a progressive clinical culture.
- Experience in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
