Offset Printing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Offset Printing Specialist to join our team at Scantec Recruitment. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid background in printing technology, particularly in offset lithography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage one or more printing and varnishing lines to meet production goals.
- Maintain the print lines in optimal condition, performing routine preventive and corrective maintenance as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards throughout the printing process.
- Oversee the availability of materials required for efficient line setup and operation.
- Train and mentor junior staff and apprentices in printing techniques and safety protocols.
- Monitor production efficiency and address any downtime issues, implementing action plans for improvement.
- Conduct quality control checks to minimize spoilage and address customer feedback effectively.
- Adhere to established Work Control Procedures (WCP) to maintain operational standards.
- Perform daily maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of machinery.
- Participate in technical projects as needed to enhance operational capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a printing role or a similar position.
- Offset printing certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- A minimum of two years' experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
