About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our client's reputable Accident Repair Bodyshop in Motherwell. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly efficient and professional team known for its commitment to delivering exceptional vehicle body repair services.
Your Responsibilities
- Produce accurate initial and updated estimates for vehicle repairs, ensuring compliance with insurer/customer specifications, safety standards, and efficient repair processes.
- Effectively manage your workload to ensure vehicles are repaired within agreed timeframes.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality repairs that meet manufacturer specifications and customer expectations.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
About You
You are a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in vehicle damage assessment. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively interact with customers, insurers, and colleagues. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy are paramount.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor.
- Valid driving license.
- Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and manufacturer specifications.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Audatex).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
