About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director Associate to join our team at NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare in our region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with other clinical and care professional leads to implement the Clinical and Care Professional Leadership Principles in the locality
  • Lead the strategic development of services, working with managerial, political, and clinical and care professional leaders across the whole ICS, supporting the delivery of the quadruple aim while keeping quality and safety at the heart of everything we do
  • Provide system leadership for the clinical and professional workforce in the locality, including the development of locality clinical and professional forums
  • Line management of the employed GP clinical lead workforce
  • Engage, build, and develop wider clinical networks with Primary Care Networks, and across the health and social care system
  • Represent the locality in Greater Manchester
