General Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a category B remand prison in West London. As a General Practitioner with Practice Plus Group, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients and develop your skills in areas you may not typically experience in a general practice or A&E environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality healthcare to patients with a range of medical conditions, including long-term conditions, mental health, and substance misuse.
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services.
- Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patients' requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.
- Participate in clinical governance and effectiveness activities to ensure the highest standards of care.
- A competitive annual salary up to £125,400, depending on experience.

Qualifications and Experience- MBChB or MBBS qualification.
- Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List.
- Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse.
- RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or prepared to undertake these qualifications.
