Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Pharmaceutical

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a global leading provider and manufacturer of healthcare solutions. As a key member of our Maintenance Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective and timely maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment, including steam raising plant, fire detection systems, building services controls, and heating and ventilation systems.
  • Conduct condition surveys and evaluate inspection reports to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
  • Plan and organize major planned works, service interruptions, and other maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Provide technical advice and support to other staff and 3rd party contractors, and coordinate work with other teams as needed.
  • Work a rotating shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to provide an emergency out-of-hours service.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a recognized and registered CITB or EITB apprenticeship, HNC/HND or higher preferred.
  • Previous experience working on breakdowns and PPM on technical mechanical, steam raising, and electrical plant in a multi-disciplined medical/healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision, with a demonstrated capability to influence/negotiate with others to achieve the required outcome.
