As a Child and Youth Support Practitioner, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional care and support to children and young people facing challenges related to mental health and developmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a variety of essential duties, including:

  • Conducting assessments and observations of children in distress to identify their immediate needs and risks.
  • Participating actively in the development of personalized care plans, ensuring they are evidence-based and centered around the individual child.
  • Documenting assessments, interventions, and evaluations accurately to maintain high standards of care and continuity.
  • Providing direct support and interventions to young people, fostering their emotional and psychological well-being.
  • Collaborating with other professionals to share expertise and enhance the quality of care provided.
