We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Podiatrist Assistant to join our team at the Merseycare Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical care to patients in our community settings.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing programs to promote and prevent adverse effects on health and well-being. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to identify and manage treatment plans for patients at risk, prioritize health problems, and intervene appropriately to assist patients in complex, urgent, or emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop treatment plans for patients with foot health issues.
- Work collaboratively with the podiatry team to provide high-quality care to patients.
- Participate in the maintenance of quality governance systems and processes across the organization.
- Contribute to the development of local guidelines, protocols, and standards.
- Undertake mandatory and statutory training.
- BSc Hons Degree or diploma in Podiatric Medicine.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex facts and situations and act accordingly.
