About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales and Business Development Professional to join our team at Ascendant Recruitment. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving business growth and revenue through the development of new business opportunities and relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Making up to 200 calls per day to prospective customers to qualify potential new business opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients to cultivate interest in our services.
  • Making appointments and following up leads to convert them into new business opportunities.
  • Using a CRM system to manage leads and sales activity, ensuring that all interactions are tracked and recorded.
  • Staying up to date with market trends, competitors, and industry changes to ensure that our services remain competitive and relevant.
  • Achieving individual and departmental goals by working towards daily and monthly targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
  • Experience in a commercial, sales-focused role, with a strong desire to work in a business development capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and in writing, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • Organized and able to manage time effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to change.
  • Familiarity with business development and sales processes, with a strong understanding of the recruitment industry.
