We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ERP (Syteline) Lead to join our team at OMEGA RESOURCE GROUP LIMITED. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting and collaborating with ERP users and departments across the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and Collaborate: Work closely with ERP users and departments to ensure seamless integration and effective use of the Syteline system.
- Project Management: Manage the successful migration and/or implementation of projects, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to business operations.
- System Customization: Customize and configure Syteline modules to meet business requirements, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Create test plans and execute them to ensure the system meets business needs and is free from defects.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation to back up any changes or implementations, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- User Training: Develop and conduct user training sessions to ensure effective use of the Syteline system.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously look for areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance system performance and user experience.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate deployment with stakeholders and gather feedback for future improvements.
- System Upgrades: Implement any upgrades to the ERP system, potentially including a migration to a new system.
- Version Control: Track programming changes using version control software.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues that arise in the day-to-day running of the ERP system and for users.
- Security and Integrity: Ensure integrity and security within the Syteline environment.
- Additional Duties: Undertake other additional duties as required by the company and/or your Line Manager.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience using, administering, and/or developing Syteline ERP.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience of working within a manufacturing and engineering environment.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Have a high level of understanding regarding databases, relational, analytical, etc.
- Business Analysis and Technical Skillset: Business Analysis and Technical Skillset required.
- Accounting Knowledge: Fundamental knowledge of accounting requirements.
- Business Intelligence: An understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) and report building.
- Manufacturing Planning Systems: APS Planning or similar Manufacturing Planning systems knowledge.
- Windows Server and SQL Server: Knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Queries.
- SQL Server Reporting Services: Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Business Intelligence Development Studio.
- Visual Basic: Some knowledge of Visual Basic (VB.NET & VBA).
- Self-Motivation: A willingness to develop and learn new skills within a technical environment.
- Teamwork: Self-motivated with the ability to work well individually and in teams.
- Time Management: Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Attention to Detail: Able to generate high-quality output with an excellent attention to detail.
