About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our successful product line, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the business to develop an in-depth understanding of the 'line of business' proposition, its clients, and their journeys.
  2. Help stakeholders and leadership understand revenue and cost opportunities and how product and journey design impacts financial performance.
  3. Work across Financial Control and Commercial Finance to ensure best practice ways of working.
  4. Build understanding to co-create our three-year plan (3YP) and budgets, ensuring risks and opportunities are considered, identified, and registered.
  5. Maintain investment analysis, including propositional development, pricing, incentives, and OD investment.
  6. Be responsible for the Income Statement & Balance Sheet for underlying and strategic investment.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues in the data team to prepare Finance Management Information.
  8. Take ownership of forecasting, ensuring projections are provided with commercial rationale.
  9. Develop understanding of new business sales pipeline, conversion, revenue, and direct costs.
  10. Work closely with the business and broader Finance team to create accurate profitability analysis.
  11. Ensure alignment and compliance with the Consumer Duty framework and our Assessment of Value obligations.
  12. Support and lead on competitor analysis to inform propositional investment opportunities.
About You

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA, or equivalent) with current technical knowledge and post-qualification experience. You should have analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

You will also have strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, with advanced Excel skills. Initiative-taking, results-oriented, and commercial mindset are essential for this role, which requires you to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Working Schedule

This role is based in Bristol head office and is a permanent, full-time position. We offer a hybrid flexible working pattern, allowing you to work from home and come into the office around twice a week.
