Job Opportunity: Clarus Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support learners with Autism in a mainstream primary school in West London.

Job Role: The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Teacher and educational staff to provide individualized support to students with Autism, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to students with Autism, developing and implementing personalized learning plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that students with Autism receive tailored support.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff to ensure seamless support and progress.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Psychology or related field (preferably).
  • Experience working with students with Autism or other Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
