Job Title: HGV Driver

Job Summary:

EV Cargo is seeking a skilled HGV driver to join our team. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers while ensuring safety and adhering to health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive HGV vehicles to deliver products to customers
  • Perform general haulage duties
  • Make trunk store deliveries
  • Drive independently or with a banksman or rep
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 2 in English & Maths, HGV Licence
  • Experience: At least six months experience in Class 1 role, scanning experience, computer/IT experience
  • Communication: Good communication skills, spoken and written
  • Influence & Persuasion: Build good working relationships with colleagues and customers
  • People & Self Development: Ability to self-motivate, self-manage, and work autonomously or as part of a team
