Position Overview
We are currently seeking skilled professionals for the role of Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer. This position is available in various regions across the UK, offering a flexible working environment tailored to your needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Responding to emergency and maintenance requests efficiently.
  • Executing the safe installation and removal of smart meters (SMETS2) in residential properties as required.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring timely completion of tasks and educating customers on the advantages and safe operation of their smart meters.
Compensation Package
  • Competitive base salary of £36,900, with a realistic OTE of £48,000 annually.
  • Annual Safety Bonus of £1,000.
  • Attendance Bonus of £1,000 each year.
  • Uncapped performance-related bonuses.
  • Additional Skill Set Bonus of £1,000 for qualifications in 3-phase and Medium Pressure.
  • Monthly flexible working scheme payment of £200.
  • Overtime compensation at time and a half, with double time on Sundays.

Qualifications and Skills Required
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a strong commitment to customer service and take pride in their work. The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold current CCN1/CMA1 & MET1 qualifications or equivalent (within 6 months of expiry).
  • Have prior MOCOPA experience at a multi-rate level (3-phase experience is advantageous).
  • Possess a valid full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 6 months of practical experience in a dual fuel capacity.
  • Be adaptable to varying shift patterns.
  • Have experience using mobile IT devices.
Please note that all candidates will undergo mandatory drug and alcohol screening as part of the hiring process, along with a DBS check and relevant vetting procedures.
