We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. As a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist General Adult Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical advice and support to GPs and other practice staff regarding the assessment and management of mental health difficulties.
- Conduct clinical assessments and provide follow-up care as needed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication reviews and risk assessments.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care to patients.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a license to practice.
- Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent higher qualification in psychiatry.
- Section 12(2) and Approved Clinician status (or eligibility).
- Registered with the Royal College of Psychiatrists CPD programme and in good standing.
