Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Day Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Day Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a LGV (Class 1) vehicle, loading and unloading goods, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a LGV (Class 1) vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
  • Attend regular training sessions to maintain and improve skills
Requirements
  • Hold a valid UK LGV (Class 1) CE Licence
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of Fridge trailers is preferred but not essential
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Be able to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Be confident, polite, and a team player
  • Have good geographical knowledge
