Chichester College Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Associate Lecturer in Carpentry & Joinery to join our dynamic Construction department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality learning experiences to our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and deliver engaging teaching and learning activities, including tutoring and assessment.
- Develop and maintain relevant learning materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards.
- Contribute to the achievement of high student retention and success rates, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Participate in curriculum development, incorporating literacy and numeracy development, equality and diversity, and safeguarding.
- Stay current with industry trends, changes, and policies, applying this knowledge to enhance teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote the College and attract new students.
- Undertake assessments on-site and off-site, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Level 2 (or equivalent) in a related subject.
- Relevant industrial/commercial/subject experience.
- Understanding of safeguarding vulnerable groups.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- Ability to obtain an appropriate teaching qualification.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
