Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Services, this crucial role focuses on ensuring seamless staffing operations for our dedicated team of Nurses and Healthcare Assistants (HCAs).

Your Responsibilities:
  • Masterfully manage ward rosters, meticulously scheduling shifts for Nurses and HCAs. This includes coordinating overtime, bank workers, and agency staff to guarantee safe and effective staffing levels.
  • Maintain the accuracy and up-to-date status of the Priory internal rostering system across all wards within the hospital.
  • Ensure permanent employees receive their rosters a minimum of 4-6 weeks in advance, promoting transparency and planning.
  • Collaborate with bank workers to secure their availability and integrate it into the rostering system.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for temporary agency bookings, ensuring smooth onboarding and integration of agency staff.
  • Maintain meticulous records by updating all hours worked on the system in alignment with payroll procedures.
Your Qualifications:
  • Possess a strong educational foundation with GCSE or equivalent qualifications in mathematics and English.
  • Hold an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification in Business Management, demonstrating your understanding of operational processes.
  • Exhibit proficiency in utilizing software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, ensuring clear and concise interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ideally, possess experience in roster management; however, this is not essential as we are committed to providing comprehensive training.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing your workload effectively.
