Our client, a prominent player in the facilities services sector, is recognized for providing exceptional services to a wide range of clients. They are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are seeking an Operations Leader to oversee their diverse operations in the Coventry/Warwickshire region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, assess, and inspire staff performance through effective leadership principles.
- Manage departmental budgets to ensure high-quality and efficient service delivery.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities for additional service offerings.
- Ensure contract profitability through careful financial oversight.
- Foster new business opportunities that align with the strategic growth of the department.
- Lead and manage field teams across various locations to ensure operational efficiency.
- Implement and uphold best practices in line with company policies and procedures, supported by the People & Practices and HSEQ teams.
- Collaborate with senior management to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain quality standards, utilizing digital tools for effective communication.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new employees, equipping them with the necessary skills for success.
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and assist in the implementation of new systems.
- Proactively address challenges with innovative solutions.
- Adopt a hands-on leadership style when necessary, setting an example for your team.
- Ensure accurate processing of scheduling, payroll, and budgets in accordance with management directives.
- Support the implementation of new contracts and assist in the transition to new service providers.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Proven experience in personnel management.
- ILM Level 3 certification is desirable.
- IOSH Managing Safety certification required within the first year, with a strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Proficient in O365 applications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cleaning processes and systems.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients through both face-to-face interactions and written correspondence.
