The Role

We are seeking a skilled Cryptographic Systems Research Specialist with a robust background or keen interest in developing Zero-Knowledge (ZK) proof systems. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for exploring the limits of cryptography and a desire to engage in innovative projects within a collaborative setting.

If you have a profound understanding of cryptographic principles and practical experience with ZK proofs, we would be eager to connect with you. This position offers a chance to be part of a team that is breaking new ground in secure and trustless computing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop cryptographic algorithms, including the design of proof systems
  • Create circuits for generating state proofs within a proof system
  • Produce academic papers and technical documentation
  • Conduct security analyses and assessments
  • Investigate and address challenges related to proof systems, circuit design, and other cryptographic issues

Qualifications

  • MS/PhD in Applied Mathematics, Cryptography, or equivalent experience
  • In-depth knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and primitives
  • Peer-reviewed publications in cryptography, distributed systems, or proof systems
  • Familiarity with or experience in Zero-Knowledge (ZK) proof techniques such as Groth16, Plonk, STARKs, or Marlin
  • Located in Europe

Compensation and Benefits
