Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Security Controller to join our team at Thales. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in the defence sector or a government agency, with expertise in creating and maintaining project security management plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide authoritative guidance to project teams on Security Grading Guides (SGGs), Security Aspects Letters (SALs), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Work with project teams to identify potential Business Critical Information Assets (BCIA) and ensure security risks are registered and maintained.
- Creation and maintenance of Project Security Management Plans.
- Act as the point of contact within the project and liaison between the Local Security Contact (LSC) and Corporate Security Office (CSO).
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in the defence sector (military) or for a government agency, in a role where you've created and maintained project security management plans.
- Aptitude for learning, as detailed training will be provided.
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the work, this role requires UK National status and Security Clearance (SC) without any caveats. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years' residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
