Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our Aviation business unit at AmcoGiffen. As a Senior Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the daily management of various civil engineering projects, airside within our portfolio of work at Leeds Bradford Airport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality responsibilities for all site activities
  • Review and interpret project drawings, specifications for site-based activity/engineering
  • Setting out and surveying works on site
  • Ensuring that site engineering is carried out in a professional, systematic, and accurate manner
  • Supervision of works on site, including labor, plant, and subcontractors
  • Keeping accurate records, including a diary, of all site activities
  • Taking off and ordering of materials
  • Daily and weekly planning of site works being carried out, including assisting in the production of Risk Assessments, Work Package Plans, Inspection Test Plans, and other documentation
  • Day-to-day management of sub-contractors and engineers as required

Requirements

  • Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering
  • Setting out experience
  • Experience and a proven track record of successful project delivery for a Main Contractor/sub-contractor on Airfield works as a Site Engineer
  • Practical experience of civil Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL)
  • Ability to obtain Airside pass in the form of Basic Disclosure Certificate
  • DfT recognized General Security Awareness Training
  • 5-year checkable work history
  • Clean UK driving license
