Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Vibe Recruit Limited. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support all site engineering and maintenance requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Engineer to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies, optimizing production and reducing costs.
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance, utilizing expertise in electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical advice and innovative solutions to problem-solving, ensuring the productive capability of the plant is optimized.
  • Work in partnership with the Senior Engineer to manage inventory, minimize working capital, and control purchasing.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and environmental legislation, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
Requirements:
  • BTEC Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of technical Health & Safety requirements, such as IOSH or NEBOSH.
  • Experience within a similar role and within a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Ability to read and follow electrical/Pneumatic diagrams.
