About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team in Lancaster. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our senior auditors on a diverse portfolio of clients, from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with senior auditors to support engagements from planning to completion.
  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts, as well as reviewing accounts prepared by junior staff.
  • Preparation and review of tax computations.
  • Management accounting.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Deliver a strong commercial awareness, identifying opportunities for fee development.
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation and compliance, ensuring audit and accounts matters are underpinned by the latest knowledge.
  • Champion your own professional development, undertaking training opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.
  • Support junior team members by sharing your knowledge and experience, helping them to progress in their careers.
