About the Role

Culture Guru is seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team as a Green Infrastructure Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established and prestigious property development business, driving environmental excellence and sustainability across our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Oversight: Conduct regular site visits to evaluate adherence to our internal environmental management system, preparing detailed reports on environmental performance, and offering recommendations for enhancement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all required permits and licenses are obtained to comply with environmental laws and regulations.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Precisely collect, analyze, and report data (such as waste quantities and utility consumption) to assess progress toward sustainability objectives.
  • Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with construction project teams to enhance site performance by advising and supporting site champions, developing guidance documents, and meeting with project teams to discuss results. Increase awareness of environmental management by providing both formal and informal training to project teams.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Due to the nature of this work (travelling to company sites), a driver's license is required.
  • Relevant Experience and Qualifications: Background in the construction industry or environmental management, with a relevant degree. Familiarity and experience with key areas such as energy efficiency, waste and resource management, and environmental oversight.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels and to inspire behavioural change.
