As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and overseeing the treasury function, managing cash flow forecasting across multiple currencies, and taking ownership of the company's banking and lending relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Setting and Reviewing Treasury Strategy: Collaborate with the VP of Finance and CFO to develop and implement treasury strategies, processes, policies, and controls.
- Treasury Tasks: Perform bank account reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and other ad-hoc analysis/projects.
- Cash Management: Ensure accurate and efficient cash management, including analysis of working capital requirements.
- Excess Cash Balances: Utilize excess cash balances in the most efficient manner, including placing on deposit with minimal risk.
- Bank Relationships: Manage relationships with banks and review financing activities and covenant performance.
- FX Exposure: Monitor rolling transactional FX exposures for the group and implement FX hedging according to the group's FX policy in collaboration with the CFO.
- Interest Rate Risk: Manage the group's interest rate risk.
- Intercompany Treasury: Take ownership of intercompany treasury, including dividends and loans, and any borrowing or bond facilities where applicable.
- Experience: Solid experience working in a treasury function in a large business.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of corporate treasury management, including complex legal entity and bank account structures, cash pooling concepts, cash flow projections, and associated risk management.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen.
- Analytical and Technical Skills: Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Credibility and Confidence: Credibility and confidence to deal with executive and senior management.
- Team Player: Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
