About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Lidl GB as a Deputy Store Manager, where you will play a key role in leading and inspiring a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and set a high standard for customer service and team performance
  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer engagement, and team productivity
  • Monitor and control store expenses, inventory, and stock levels to optimize profitability
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and career progression
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail or customer-facing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business growth
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to manage challenging situations
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs
