About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of clinical knowledge and proficiency in general adult psychiatry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a range of settings, including hospitals, community health centers, and private practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and treatment in a range of settings
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement recovery-focused care plans
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A minimum of 2.5 years of consultant-level experience in general adult psychiatryCompleted a formal 6-month post in child and adolescent psychiatryHigh-level clinical knowledge and proficiency in general adult psychiatryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment
