About the Role

Forsyth Barnes is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Consulting team in Surrey. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects from pre-sales scoping to project planning and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Service Delivery team to design and deliver professional services to our customers.
  • Design and document customer solutions, leveraging your expertise in Azure service offerings and products.
  • Lead the delivery of migrations into Azure using various migration methods and tooling.
  • Develop and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates for deploying workloads.
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in Azure service offerings and products, including Windows Server and SQL Server.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, OSI, and VPNs.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in Project Management tools, such as Jira and Azure DevOps Boards.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Azure Migration tools, including Azure Migrate Assessment and SQL Server Migration Assistant.
  • Experience with migrating and scaling Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and FSLogix.
