About the Role
The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer to join their team on a term-time, full-time basis. This role is based at Windsor and offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the college community in safeguarding cases, working closely with external agencies and attending meetings on behalf of the college.
- Collaborate with safeguarding leaders to promote student wellbeing and a positive mindset, contributing to the administration of behaviour management procedures and assisting in implementing an effective wellbeing strategy for staff and students.
- Manage a caseload of students with varying support requirements, making referrals and taking on the role of designated safeguarding officer on a rota basis.
- Represent the college at external multiagency meetings and provide front-line wellbeing support for students.
- Collect and report data on safeguarding, wellbeing, and student participation, maintaining clear communication and consistency of approach with other safeguarding teams.
Working Arrangements
This is a term-time, full-time position, working 42 weeks per year. The successful candidate will be part of the Student Services team and will assist with general enquiries, support incidents and emergencies, and contribute to the smooth running of the college campuses.
